Thank you to everyone who supported our underwater clean up at the Dimaniyat Islands July 2016

ESO conducted 2 underwater clean-ups on Damaniyat Islands over the weekend, and with the help of volunteers managed to recover nearly 400 kg of abandoned fishing nets and lines as well as anchors and other metal items from Al Joon Shallow and Doc’s Wall dive sites. ESO/PDO Education Program in Schools January 2017

Sponsored by PDO, ESO’s Environmental Education Program aims to raise environmental awareness amongst Omani youth through a program catered to school-children in different parts of the Sultanate. The program endeavours to implement 4 various themes over the 2-year project period including: energy and water, biodiversity, carbon footprint and green schools. Additionally, a series of fun environmentally themed “Eco Summer” workshops are prepared over the summer months for children between the ages of 12-17.     ...

ESO held an interactive workshop on the sustainable harvesting of frankincense trees at the Hilton Salalah Resort on 11th May 2016 in partnership with HSBC Bank Oman.
